Game Preview: 905 vs Warriors

The Raptors 905 head into tonight’s contest against the Santa Cruz Warriors looking for their tenth consecutive victory. The 905 are coming off a 111-104 win over the Los Angeles D-Fenders, who boast the second-best record in the D-League at 29-11. Santa Cruz defeated the Reno Bighorns 114-107 back on March 4th  to improve their record to 22-17.

Road Warriors: The Raptors 905 continued their success on the road, earning their league best 17th road victory of the year against the D-Fenders.

Defense first mentality: Saturday’s contest against the D-Fenders featured the D-League’s best offensive team versus the leagues best defensive team. The D-Fenders average 118.9 points per game, but the 905 held them to 104 points in the victory. 

Tough Hosts: The Santa Cruz Warriors are tied for the second most home wins in the Western Conference with a 14-6 record

Play as a team, win as a team: In the victory versus the D-Fenders, the Raptors 905 had eight players with double digit points.

Sharing the rock: The Raptors 905 totalled 30 assists in their win over Los Angeles.

End of the road: The Raptors 905 will end their five-game road trip on Friday, when they visit the Salt Lake City Stars.
