Game 2 Preview: Canton @ Raptors 905

Raptors 905 will attempt to punch its ticket to the second round with a victory tonight after defeating Canton 112-107 in Game One.  Game Two and Three will be played at Hershey Centre. 

Regular Season   

Raptors 905: 39-11  

Canton Charge: 29-21   

Game 1 

Axel Toupane led the Raptors 905 to their first playoff victory in franchise history, dropping a career-high 41 points, on 57% field goal shooting. Toupane’s previous high this season was 32 points scored on December 2nd, also against the Canton Charge.

Edy Tavares grabbed a game-high 16 rebounds to go along with 10 points and three blocks.

Game Preview

Game One was a tale of two half’s as the 905 outscored Canton by 16 in the first half while being outscored by 11 in the second half.  Both teams scored 45+% from the floor, expect another offensive affair Saturday night.  Raptors 905 enjoyed double-digit efforts from three players, the Charge receiving double-digit contributions from six players. 

Tonight marks the first playoff game hosted at Hershey Centre. 

 Players to watch 

 Leading scorers Axel Toupane of Raptors 905 and Kay Felder from the Charge are poised to repeat on their offensive performances from Game One.  Toupane scored 41 points in the victory and Felder scored 31 while adding 12 assists.
