Raptors 905 (38-11) defeated the Windy City Bulls (23-26) 98-95 in a closely contested affair Thursday night.  With the victory, the team is now tied for the second-most regular season wins in NBA D-League history.   Fred VanVleet led the 905 with 24 points and nine assists, while Alec Brown scored a game-high 27 points in the loss for Windy City.

Brady Heslip led the offence with 10 points in the opening quarter, while Edy Tavares anchored the defence, recording three blocks, leading to a 24-19 advantage for the 905.  Windy City battled back in the second frame to tie the game at 44 headed into halftime. Brown was the catalyst for the Bulls offence, recording 13 points in the opening 24 minutes of play.

The score remained deadlocked at 72-72 through three quarters of play. Each team received a dominant performance from its leading scorer in the third; Windy City benefitted from a 12-point quarter from Brown, while VanVleet led the 905 with 13 points and four assists.

The final frame would come right down to the buzzer as the two teams traded baskets throughout the quarter.  The turning point came at the 6:14 mark of the fourth when a Pascal Siakam steal and slam dunk gave the 905 a lead it would not relinquish.  Windy City was unable to capitalize on its final possession to tie the game, as the 905 earned the victory in its final home game of the regular season.
